Strip foundations, raft foundations, trench fill and pad bases — we supply the right concrete, mixed fresh on site, to your engineer or building control specification. Domestic extensions, garages and commercial groundworks across South Wales.
What we supply
Specification
Foundation concrete isn't something to guess at. The mix design, strength class, depth and reinforcement all need to match what your structural engineer or building control officer has specified for the ground conditions and the loadings of what's going on top.
We don't give structural engineering advice as fact. Tell us the specified concrete strength and mix, and we'll batch it on site to that spec using our volumetric mixer. If you're not sure what spec you need, speak to a structural engineer first — we can advise on the practical delivery side but we won't guess at a structural requirement.
Quantity
Trench fill foundations can take a surprising amount of concrete — a 10m trench at 600mm wide and 1m deep is 6m³ on its own. Use our concrete calculator to estimate the volume from your trench dimensions, and we'll confirm the quantity on site since volumetric mixing lets us adjust up or down to the exact amount the trench takes.
Access
Foundation trenches are often at the back of the property or down a side passage. If the wagon can't get close, we can pump the concrete or run barrows. Tell us about access when you book — photos help — and we'll plan the delivery so the pour goes in smoothly on the day.
Send us your engineer's spec and trench dimensions — we'll batch the concrete to it and quote within 48 hours.
